This is the incredible promise of AI in Energy: a world of clean, stable, abundant power. But then, imagine this "smart grid" is programmed with the old, "buggy" code of the 20th century: Maximize Profit. What happens when a heatwave strikes? Does the AI calculate that it's more "profitable" to divert power to data centers or wealthy suburbs, leaving hospitals or low-income neighborhoods to suffer in the dark?
